Priddy Engineering

The Brief

Priddy Engineering underwent a large rebrand and needed a new website to reflect their new branding, values and company ethos. A key criteria was ensuring that the personality of the organisation was successfully communicated - with a real focus on their people and their fantastic range of case studies that highlights their expertise. Behind the scenes, they wanted a content management system (CMS) that was simple to update so that they could easily manage their website.

The Solution

We used bold colours in the website designs for a clean and modern look that matched Priddy's updated brand guidelines and focused on large, impactful imagery to really showcase their work and people.

The 'Projects' section was designed with beautiful imagery, tagged content and service and sector icons so that relevant case studies could easily be filtered. This allows users to narrow down the wide selection of available projects to find ones that matched their requirements. The design was kept clean to ensure a smooth user experience and the use of clear call to actions and transitions ensured a fluid website experience.

Another aim of the website is attracting new talent to their growing team so the 'Vacancies' section showcased their organisation through clear benefits and a simple CV uploader to allow candidates to directly apply to vacancies on the website - and email the team their CV, cover letter and application.

As with all our websites we ensure that the website was optimised for search engines through initial SEO setup. This involved carrying out keyword research around their services and competitors and implementing optimised title tags and meta descriptions

Why Umbraco?

The website was built on Umbraco, as it is so simple to use. Content managers can quickly upload and automatically crop images within Umbraco to allow imagery to continue to be updated and a key focus for the website.

We built pre-defined templates within Umbraco and the ability to mix and match content panels so that adding new webpage content, case studies and team members is very easy to do and maintains a consistent look. The use of defined content panels also give means that new sections can be added or removed to ensure a flexible and future-proof website that users can control without needing to touch any code.
